Oil Air Separator 2.3L

I believe mine may be clogged with massive build up. There was a hole in the tube going to the intake manifold (the one with the connector on it) so I took it off and there was a lot of gunky buildup, probably clogged the hose. I didn't know it had a white plastic piece going to the inside of the oil air separator box, they call it a heater element to evaporate the water vapor.

What would the symptoms be on a clogged separator box?? My car stalls when taking off or giving lots of gas at around 1500RPM. Either way I am going to have to order new box and hoses or new hoses and clean this one out.

And where would I get a new hose for the one with the heater element in it

I have a pcv valve instead of an oil separator, and the hose was also gunked up or rotted inside. On mine I just bought a short piece of 3/8" fuel line hose, but I don't know how
well that works on yours, especially with the heater.

I plan to buy a 3/8" aluminum or stainless tube (like a brake line, only it's about 3/8") and make a strong, custom shaped,
pcv valve hose(line) and use fuel line pieces at the two ends to connect. The dealer needed 20 some dollars to order the pre-formed hose, but I plan to make
my metal one for less than 20.
