I am new to this forum so im not sure if im posting in the right area. I have a 2004 cav with what seems to be a rod knock. I also have an 1999 cav z24 engine that had no problems. They are both 5 speeds. What parts will transfer from the z24 to the new engine? The 2004 is a 2.2 ecotech. Thanks.
The engine's are not interchangeable. The z24 engine is a 2.4L. Obviously, the eco is a 2.2. Two completely different motors.
