Hey everybody I have a 2002 Chevy cavalier ls sedan with 250,000 miles on it and eailer today my car started to act funny first thing is it can't make it up a hill it just jerks around and then shouts of and then when you go any higher then 50 it starts to jerk around second thing is that in the driver side wheel weld front and rear there is oil but not on the passanger side and third thing is when you start to drive you here this grinding noise like something is grind on the ground i just need to see what you guys think it is so I can check it out cause I can't get to the mechanic until a week.
What color is the fluid. If it is red, it is transmission fluid.
On the inside my car looks like a fighter jet.
When I touch it it was black like oil
have you replaced the gaskets lately? with that many miles, oil could be blowing out and appear to just be on the one side...wouldnt hurt to do some minor maintenance on the motors gaskets and seals if it hasnt been done already..lack of oil pressure may cause car to jerk around some too..had this issue a while ago in another car i had..had crude between the motor seals...
