Well, i searched and didnt feel any of the results had a conclusion. so here's everything i can think of. the previous owner claims it ran good then one day it just wouldnt start. The radio lights illuminate but no clock and no power turning it on. when i lock the door with keyless entry his driver side speaker buzzes. When i crank on it it wont start and when i stop cranking odometer reads error. the fuel pump does not prime at all and it wont start with ether so I'm just assuming no spark. I have not yet tried the relearn procedure. Other than doing the passlock relearn does anyone know a fix for this?

This happens while I am reprogramming with HP Tuners.... not sure what would cause it on a normal car without though.... For some reason I am thinking insufficent power maybe??

passlock relearn didnt work. however the radio was just a fuse. thats all good now. but still getting ERROR on odo and not fuel or spark?

Have you actually tested for spark and fuel? If it is passlock I would think that it would only cut 1 or the other.... Do you have Hp Tuners?

It may be a computer issue also ,I had a problem that was almost like yours but a little different and it was the body control module... The bcm got fried caused the bcm to reset and would not fire the car not only that fried my fuel pump, set the odometer back to 0 and caused a headache full of problems if u can get to a local u pull it lot and pull one it may be it ,but all I'm giving u is a possibility... Also check the wires that go to the fuel pump and make sure none are broken or none of the metal wire is showing through cause that's how both of mine got fried....

My BCM got burned up. Shop didn't unhook my battery when he welded the trunk floor. Need a new BCM now. Error meaasage and no brake lights or parking lights, all guages have no reading either.

Bcm controls all of that that's why u won't get spark ,fuel the instrument cluster is also controlled by the bcm u won't have any of your cluster acting properly either because of it ....once you replace it, it should fix your problems...

Ya I would guess that the BCM is not sending a signal for the theft system to let the car start, that would make sense.

anyone know what bcms are interchangeable? This is an 02 lss.

Ended up throwing a bcm on it. did nothing. put a pcm on it and shizzam. fires up every time
