Hello,
My car is a 1999 Pontiac Sunfire 2.2 4DR. 22,000 miles yes the number is correct. The car runs fine and drives fine. The car has 2 problems a P0325 code and it will not rev past 3500RPM. I have investigated pretty much everything in this car and I have been unable to fix it yet.

1. New fuel tank, fuel pump, fuel filter and fuel lines in 2014.
2. New plugs and wires.
3. Coils and ignition are good.
4. Cat heats up to about 280-300 Deg F on the inlet and about 400-425 Deg F on the outlet.
5. I thought that the muffler may be causing back pressure so I disconnected it from the exhaust and the car still will not rev past 3500 rpm.
6. Tried 2 knock sensors, both are around 100 ohms and the wires back to the ECM are fine.
7. Ran live data on my code reader and the O2 sensors are reading fine according to all of the O2 sensor videos on youtube.

I have run out of ideas and the internet has not been much help yet. Aside from waving a magic want at the POS I am not sure what direction to go in next.

Any help that does not involve gas and a match or dropping it off at the junkyard will certainly be appreciated.
