im trying to change my alternator belt on my 01 z24 but i cant find the arm that lets the tension up, does anyone have instructions on how to losen the belt if so thanks.
To release the pressure on your belt, locate the tensioner that is next to the alternator (towards the cabin of the car). Once you've found it get an appropriate wrench (I think it's a 13mm) and pull on it. One thing to note, you need a really long wrench or will need to put two wrenches together to get enough leverage.
Hope that helps.

^^^^ agreed! If you are doing it with just the 15mm wrench then it's going to be HARD! You might have a hard time pulling the tensioner enough to get the slack on the belt. I suggest using a belt removal tool, pretty much a long a$$ wrench. it should take 10 min.
