Have a REALLY dumb question! I was putting antfreeze in the gf's car today, and decided to check the oil. It said it was LOW, so i put a quart in. I checked again and it still wasnt full, so i put another quart in. But after i was thinking, "Did i put too much oil in"??? None came out of the "resevoir", like it didnt come out from putting too much in, but i just had a weird feeling about it. Is it possible i put too much in, or would it have come out at me if i had put too much. Thanks
Its still on the hashes. I started it and checked, and it was in the middle, so i should be good then??????
Ok. I went and checked it, and its saying its over full?? WTF. Its maybe half an inch over the full line! Im assuming i should go get and oil change and get all new oil in, or am i ok, or what? What an idiot!
Engine cold = higher than what it really is
Engine warm = the right level
And dont try to fill it while the engine is on LOL
