anyone know what would cause irratic idle from normal to 1300 rpms and lurches when coasting?

04 sunfire auto, mid 15's n/a, and still going
fuel system or timing. how long has it been since its had a new fuel filter. maybee some sea foam or something. Depending on miles it may be time for a tune up.
well mine has 62000 miles on an 04 regular oil changes plugs are good fuel filter hasnt been changed
other car same yr much lower miles probably under 20000 mi and same issues on both
i will consider the fuel filter thanks
