what is good maintenance for a 140k mile engine?

I bought my car about 8 months ago. i have taken great care of it by changing the oil every 2,500 miles, and keeping the other fluids full / changed. it runs better then the day i got it, and i know the guy before me babyed the thing.

but i still do run it hard on the track or on the streets on the weekend. and before some gasket or somthing blows out, i want to know what i should do to the engine or what i should replace to keep the engine going past 200,000 miles.

here is the status:
-new intake manifold and gasket
-new radiator and AC condensor
-newer spark plugs
-new throttle body gaskets

thats about it. i think it had a tune up with basic stuff done right before 100,000 ... but im not sure.

what things should i be saving for or looking out for on the engine. or what things could use replacing since its been so many miles? and even though it had a tune up, some of the stuff on the car is still original.

That is a good question, since I am about 10k behind you (130k)...

I'm curious to what the people with long-running cars say...

Is your cav buring oil? (yet?)

my car is just shy 130,000 and i have had my fuel pump is starting to go now(high pitch wistle, car stalls from lack of fuel sometime's) and also my fuel regulator went at 120,000. but i am also on my 3rd block only my drivetrain, external acces, and upper end ie heads and so fourth are original. but i would keep an eye on my temp if i was you cos most cars i have seen need it replaced b4 200,000 and the same with the timing just my 2 cents tho

the view is all the same unless your the lead dog.

no my car isnt burning oil. it comes out as clear as what went in after 3k miles, and i never have to add oil because it stays at the full line the entire time.
