gotta replace subframe

Hey. I have a 95 cavy that needs a new subframe. the passanger side of the frame is rotted rather badly, which is strange because the other side of the subframe and the rest of the car are all in great shape.

anyway i got a subframe with the control arms and stabilizer on it so i wont have to swap those. changing the frame seems straight forward though a huge pita.

am i correct in assuming that the tie rod ends do not have to be unhooked from the streeing knuckle? and the i can just unbolt the rack from the frame and leave it in place?

I know that i will need an alignment after, but that will be done after i replace the struts(passanger side is leaking)

so does anyone have any tips on removing/replaceing the subframe?

do the bolts screw in to a loose nut, or threaded steel?

The bottom bolts screw into threaded steel. The top is connected with nuts. My '96 Cavi subframe also appeared to be held in place by the steering pump or something.
