I searched and came across an old post but it kinda left me hanging. Is the only way to bleed a 2.4 by the resevoir filler cap?

on the back side of the engine is a steel tube that runs from a coolant outlet to the resivoir......it's called a bleed tube or somthin like that....that tube i believe should eliminate the bleeding process
