sunroof issues
Sunday, July 10, 2005 7:09 PM
The sunroof in my car is broken or somemthing. When it is closed yoiu can press on the back of the glass and it will lift up. Is this normal?? any ideas what would be causing this. It does open and close fine.

Mine does the same thing. I'm not worried about it. Kinda freaky though when I'm driving down the highway and the closed sunroof will slightly lift up and down with the airflow going over the top of the car. 2000 z24. But like you, I'm not sure if mine is broken or not. Anyone else?

mines the same too. and when you close the door it pops up a little too right? don't
worry its normal.

the roof on our cars flexes a pretty good amount and seeing how glass doesn't i would
have to guess its so the sunroof mecinism doesn't get damaged. who knows as long as it does't leak when it rains dont worry about it.

Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.

This is normal.

It is like this so when you slam your doors it releases pressure.

Unless it's SUPER loose, don't worry about it.

cruising 65-70...it will sit there and bounce around in the back, maybe moves 1" - 2"
