idle prob and vacuum line?

I have posted about this before and just want to check with everyone before i do some changes.

The problem I am having is that my idle fluxuates when I hit the gas. I'll give it some gas and the idle drops to where it would normally but then it dips down lower and comes back up to normal.

I just changed fuel filter, plugs, air filter and did an oil change. Just some routine maintenance.

Now I looked at the IAT sensor.. I don't get how you check it but I looked at it and make sure the wires where it goes into the stock intake were ok and they were.

I also looked at the short vacuum line that comes out of the TB that;s about a foot long..it has some small cracks on it on the connected ends...I'm not throwing any codes so should I just replace it anyways just to be sure?? If so what would that part be called when I go to get it.

I have not yet checked the o2 sensor but will be doing that tomorrow most likely. ALso not sure how you check that one but I'll take a look at it.

Either than these things could it be something else?

I just want a normal idle

Thanx.

Before checking the O2 Sensor, replace that short piece of vacuum line. That is the same one that went on my 98 Z24. If that doesn't fix the problem, than have the O2 sensor checked.
