hey, wondering if any of you guys know of any place that builds race engines for jbodys in this region or would be willing to build one for me, or even any good machine shops where i can get some work done and assemble myself, thanks.

What exactly are you looking to have done? There's a shop here in GP called precision automotive. I've never had anything done there, but I know a few people who have, and were happy with the work. Before they went under, Street and Strip recommended them a lot.

yea about that, i know my profile probably says 2.2 because i haven't updated it, my 97 cav (ex 2.2) now has a 3400 out of a 2000 gagt in it. plus the car I'm looking to get built is a 2000 z24(ld9) id build it myself if i had the place to do it.

you say this precision auto place went under?

oh and I've also got a 03 sunfire 4 door auto that the woman drives, and no I'm not doing an eco swap. not on this z24 anyway, love my jbodies lol

buy parts and get it assembled locally or buy my car and it has the built engine in it already with the turbo setup to make the most of it

better off doing that with the 2.4. it's going to happen any way.

Well when I see a 2200 run 14 flat in Edmonton I'll get rid of the 2.4 hahaha

im not worried if it does blow up, or when/where it does. the 2.4 is being built so i need to find a place, i definitely am not paying fort macs prices to get something like this done when edmonton is six hours away and most likely half the price lol
