does any-one have any ideas of the best places i can go in calgary to buy performance parts for my cavy im kinda new to all this and im just looking for extra advice
or would buying parts online be cheaper??
what are you looking for, let me know as im in red deer and can get damn near anything
just looking for deals on performance parts
i aint rich
but i want to put som actual work down on my cavy
so far i just put in a stage 2 racing clutch
and im thinking i wanna go cold air intake
slam it down
throw som racing headers on
i dont have too many ideas cuz im kinda new to all this
but som tips would help
why would you be wanting to do the clutch right now? even with bolt ons, your stocker pending mileage will hold what you have currently.
an air intake/header with full exhaust would help a little bit. which engine do you have?
if you have bigger goals later on in mind, i would just save the time/money and bank til you can afford the bigger stuff
Because of the fact that the previous owner was a gurl and she bleebthe hell out of the clutch
Sobi just decided to put a nice new one in
And i also have a set of obx racing headers that im waiting to put on
But buddy that i bought them fron didnt have the gasket so i gotta get/make a gasket somehow to put them on
And it came with a high flow cat
But yeah i guess im going to have to start the fast cavy piggy bankx
Use a stock gasket for the header.

i can get you a good price on a bully clutch if you were interested
Scott, is there any such thing as a "performance" slave cylander for the J's?? everywhere I ask, they have no idea what I'm talking about.
I need a new sig.
Really damn i didnt know that that sounds like a good ibdea tho i thought it need like a special gasket
And how much would you be talking for the bully clutch

a company called tilton makes one but they are pricey little buggers
for the bully clutch, you got a 1998 cavalier but which engine, did you want a new slave cylinder for it as well? a complete kit comes with the clutch/pressure plate/slave cylinder and alignment tool
naaah i dont think i neeed a new slave and
yeah it has a 2.4 L twin cam

Yes, you will need a new slave/TOB. If your doing the clutch you should do the throw out bearing as well, they don't call it a slave in our world it's a TOB.

it is more of a slave though..... call it a TOB and you may get the same error made when I was trying to find one.
I need a new sig.
