Exploited Racing finially has 2.3L to 2.4L intake convertion flanges! These flanges allow for easy 2.3L HO intake manifold install. With these flanges porting your HO manifold or cylinder head is not required! Convertion flange is constructed of 6160 Aluminum and CNC machined for EXACT fit. Flange has already been fitted and tested locally. Price per flange: $85.00 + shipping
Flange shown does not have elipsed bolt holes required for install (purchased flanges include this). When installing HO intake manifold longer bolts or studs are required.

very cool man! you might wanna bundle the appropriate bolts in with the kit for like $5 more or something. anyway keep up the good work.
Sven you totally quarterloafed your computer..
is my flange gonna kinda look like that 1 ??
Nice idea for a product. 2 suggestions though
1. Include everything needed like the studs so its all one complete kit.
2. That gasket looks a little thin on the2 bottom corners on manifold side of the flange. Hows that holding up? Like under high boost.
Other than that looks really good!

its 1/2" thick aluminum so it should hold up well even under boost. Im considering adding the studs as well. i just gotta get the exact length and thread for them probably need 2" long studs.
Im also going to offer these in the non-heat transfering material for the same price.

i think he means the outer corners of the outer ports, the gasket surface is quite thin there, as well as at the top of each port where its machined smaller. Its a valid point, as that will be a weak spot for gasket blowage. Looks good though.
Yeah cam hit what i was trying to say. Over time being heat cycled or high boost that could lead to problems. Just a heads up.

Stupid question: Does this allow you to simply bolt up the HO mani to the 2.4L, or do you have to cut the flange off of an HO mani and weld this one in place?
uhm....yeah....ill be purchasing the heat-tranfer version of this...DEFINATLY!
lemme know when its all ready to go brian...

What's the gasket set up on this? Two HO gaskets, one cut? or maybe custom gaskets or what? Also How long before we can get it with the longer studs and for how much more?
nice stuff.
i should show u the ones i have in my basement from last year from ben/brian that my bro is working on the cnc program for.
Ben was there when i made this one jake. As for when theyll be available, i should have them on the site in a day or two under the "intake" page. As for gaskets i would say just use 2 HO gaskets.

I may be picking up this flange for the port matching.
Of course, unless the product I"m getting from you is just as good.

Remember....syringes go in the RED waste basket.
I think elimates the need for port matching.

You keep making flanges the way you are and i may have to use you as a supplier once i figure out how to TIG weld aluminum
