hi i have a 1998 z24.it is equipped with an auto tranny.i am interested in the 3800 swap.i drive this car everyday so i would like to keep my auto tranny.my question is can i use the 3800 motor and tranny combo in my car or should i keep my factory tranny and mate the 3800 to it.also if i keep the auto i shouldn't have to reflash the ecu right.
also what all will i nedd(deatiled parts list)to perform this swap.i can fab my own subframe and do all my own install .and what would be the best donor car

idk how much work or what things u would need to do but i think a GTP would be the best engine for the job there runnin like 250 stock so ya lates

The 2.4 auto tranny won't bolt up to the 3x00, you'll need the transmission from a 2.2 non eco.
