Hey I just need some help and opinions about swapping a 2.2 liter engine. I have a 1997 Base Cavalier that I've made into a Z24 and now I want to top it all off with swapping to a 2.4 liter or a 3.4 liter V6 from a Grand Am. Which engine do you reccommend and what should I know before doing an engine swap? I need some help on this subject so I greatly appreciate any I can get. Thanks!!

well... personally, i perfer the 2.4. however, 3400 swaps are badass if i you ask me. those engines are nothing to shake a stick at.

if you'd like to do the 2.4 LD9 swap (congrats on not even thinking about an ecotec) all you need to do is hit up out search for the site in this forum. type in something like 2.4 swap and you'll get tons of information already here. you could read for days on the info of doing this.

if you wanting to do the 3400 hit up the third generation forum. there's a lot of good info there and lots of people that have done it usually post there often. this would be your best bet IMO for info on this swap.

i think you should find a donor car to get all the parts you need, because you are going to need quite a few.
