I have a 2001, 2200 and i have the header, resonator and the cat. waiting for the muffler since i haven't fully decide. All this is going with a 2 1/4 pipes. Here is the problem i was going to take it to the exhaust shop and just have them but everything on, Until i reliezed that they are going to charge me like a extra 200 just to put on the header, everything else is just like 200 which is fine. Im trying to figure out why so much for the damn header? The reason i haven't done it myself is because the stock mid-pipe is weld into the stock cat... anybody have any smart idea or have done this before so i can put the header on myself and and save me 200 bucks?

How far away is the shop? Just remove your exhaust and header at your house. Then install your header and drive it to the shop to get the exhaust done.

The reason why it's $200 is because it's a few hours labor to install a header...you can do it yourself, it;s easy and all it takes is time.
Don't buy from MANTAPART!!
There is no easy ways to get HP, no magic box or gizmo... And if you get more hp, there's no way to make your car still behave and sound like a stock one. More hp usually makes your car louder, more vibrations and harder to drive...but still people hope or think maby there's some magic way to have it all, comfort, stock sound and drive.
Yea, i might do that the shop is really close, maybe like 5 mins. Thanks guys i may just do that.
