i have 2001 2.2 cav, im waiting for my cheap ebay intake in the mail, its just a short wai with lame filter on it, i am going to put a K&N filter on it. this is just my winter car so its pretty beat up lol. It has stock exhaust all the way back and a cherrybomb turbo muffler with tip on it which actually sounds not bad. I am wondering if the intake will make the car much louder? and if im going to notice much difference in power? im not expecting much.
most likely in noise .. i remember with my 2.2 it just sounded cooler haha
If you stomp the gas in park or in gear at a low rpm.... you'll here the intake "romp" a little bit but thats about it.
yup, itll make that intake-suck sound when you slam on it. 2200's dont seem to respond very well to any performance mods... but at least it'll sound cool and make under your hood look a little more sporty

ya im glad im buying a z24 in spring and parking this 2200 for the summer, then i can buy some better mods
