misfire in cylinder 4

ok so here is what has been done.

engine totally over hauled ruling out mechanical issue
new fuel injectors and fuel pressure regulator ruling out fuel issue

this is what is happening. at idle when looking at misfires with a tech2 cylinder 4 will go like 2,4,6,8,10 then cycle over again on misfires. but at higher rpms the misfires climb more and it happens in all cylinders enough to throw a p0300 code

I am going to put a new icm in it.

but if anybody else have any suggestions let me know.

repalced the plugs and it still does it. icm got replaced and it still does it. engine got replaced and it still does it.

but I am think maybe it might be the injector in cylinder 2 cause some times corresponding cylinders can cause mistaking misfires

I did not ask if you replaced the plugs, I asked what they looked like.... Reading the plugs may help answer what is going on....

compression check? (upper/lower) then rule out spark issues like he said check the plugs etc and
too bad you cant switch the coils but you could have a bad injector or something. if you just did a
teardown could very well be mechanical you cant just rule that out

I ran into this problem with my LD9. Mine was on cylinder 3 tho. Turns out all that was wrong was the connection between injector and wire harness. All I did was wiggle the injector and noticed that when I moved it a certain way, it made a connection and worked fine. Good luck.
