I posted some while ago that I was having troubles with my racetronix fuel pump that I installed. My fuel pressure was way too low and no one seemed to have answers. Well finally I had some time to drop the tank and double check everything. Instantly I found my problem the main fuel hose is kinking when it goes into the tank. Can I shorten that hose to fix my problem or is there another reason why it is doing that. Thanks
If the pump is in the assembly right then it sounds like you just got too long of a hose on there. Can you take a picture?

I would hate to just say cut it without knowing for sure that it isnt part of the quick disconnect stuff...

.... you had to ask? cut it

i figured cut it but I didn't know why anyone else hasn't had to
Most people wouldnt think to add something small like that. If you install a new pump that is longer then stuff like that will have to be done.

I had to run a better pump so my AFRs would be correct the stock pump alone couldnt give me the fuel pressure I needed under boost. I have the car running now just test drove it.
I was talking about a note about having to shorten the fuel line. Upgraded fuel pumps are always a good idea.
