CAI/SRI help

I have a 97 2.2 cavalier. I want to get a cold air intake or short ram. Doesn't really matter to me, just want to get the big black tubing out basically. I've been looking on ebay for a cheap one and I can't find any that fit my car for some reason. I've read that you can make the ones for a 1998 to fit, so I just want someone to confirm it and maybe post some pics. Preferably I's like one that connects right to the TB. I don't want to buy a full K&N system, but i will get a nice filter. So links to a cheap intake would be awesome.

Just wondering if this intake looks decent and that it will fit nice. Option Racing Intake

I can't find any other 1997 2.2 intakes, i can find 97 2.4 and 98+ 2.2 Just getting a little frustrated.

Although more expensive here's more options:

http://www.rdfabs.com/22noneco_srint.php They also have also a CAI http://www.rdfabs.com/22noneco_caint.php

Ebay will usually have the cheapest options though

AEM or K&N are the only 2 brands I would personally ever use. Anything else and you may have issues.

^^^Are you sure about that? .........i would personally choose Injen intakes over those two you mentioned, the filters Injen uses flow much better imo and they don't fall apart like aem's, and fitment is perfect.

What are the best sites to order one off of then? StreetBeat has Weapon R Intakes that I've heard good things about, does any one have any experience with those?

Yes, been on this forum and owned a cavalier for over 10 years, tried and seen many intakes, K&N and AEM are the only 2 that last IMO.
