Has anyone thought about trying to fit the new camaro 60 degree 3.6 into a j?
I've been trying to find a little information on the engine to see what would go into such a swap. Haven't been able to come up with much of anything. Wondering what the bellhousing pattern is like.
Anyone have at information about it. Not really trykng to undertake this task. More then anything just wanting to verify the idea
www.60degreev6.com would probably be the best place for a majority of your questions.
Have fun getting that Caddy V6 to run good though. It's going to be an electronics nightmare.
i find it amusing that SHOoff has nothing better to do but follow me around & be an unhelpful dick in even cross-forum. - Jon Mick
bellhousing is an eco bellhousing atlease the 3.6 in the saturn arua is not sure whats different on the camero side but nothing is impossible but judging by you posting that kinda post leads me to believe your not gonna attempt it unless someone else has

thats not it at all. i would love to be the first person to try to complete this swap, but i have a lack of money that would stop me from being able to buy the parts necissary.
however if i could find a new camaro that has been totald in a junkyard i woul strip the engine bay and start trying
I'd say lack of money is the least of your problems in doing the swap.

What other problems would u say that I would have?
One thing that sucks about the car is the computer, HPT has no support and from what Ive read, there wont be any time soon.
"Oil Leak ? What oil Leak ? Oh, Thats Just The Sweat From All The HorsePower!!"
yes at this time HPT doesn't support an 3.6L so you woul dhave to runn an aftermarket standalone they say theres o plan for it but the amoun tof cars tha thave it now i can see that changing more so because camero tuning is soon gonna be a big market

HPT supports the 3.6L LY7 thats in the G6, Malibu, and Aura XR.
