wish i could lol, im thinking more like stuff i might be able to make myself as i have access to metal and metal working tools
like is says in the proformance sticky, "Speed isent cheap" i spose a home made CAI would be a good start, dont try to make exhaust that would be a disaster....
Your profile says you have an intake, so I would do the MRZ performance pulleys next. Iirc, they're around $200, and you need a belt 1" shorter than stock to run them. I almost forgot about the WOT-Tech chip, too. So ~$300 for some decent gains. What sort of metal working tools do you have access to?
Btw, I hope you stick with this. No one does gen 2 builds anymore.

It would be easy enough to do. There's some write up's on doing it. You use parts from a junk yard off another car, and get a noticeable gain in HP. I believe there is also a chip from WOT-Tech as well for an engine that's set up this way.

Welder, lathe, a milling machine. Its a whole metal shop at my old highschool.
I would really like to spend money on it but I'm cheap so this is probably going to be an in progress thing for a long time.
What changed in the 3.1 between the regular cava and the z24? Could I maybe go and get the comp from a z24 at a wrecker or something? I'm going to be building a ram intake soon after I finish repainting the lower half of the drivers door.
Nothing changed, they're the same engine. Look at my above posts. Go from 140hp to around 170hp

well i found that my muffler was rotting so i went to canadian tire and bought myself a cherrybomb glass pack to replace it. it cost me $40 bucks. drove the car almost all the next day and now she sounds nasty! it has a awesome growl to it now. im super happy with that and i dont think ill be doing anything else for a while with it as im in the process of selling my other vehicle and purchasing an old 4x4 toyota to do some playing with on the weekends
