hey. just put a fresh 2.4 in my 99 cavi. first time ever swapping a motor. i had a guy said he would help me with every thing but he never showed up so i did it myself.
i guess i put the anti freeze in wrong and i'm having some serious vapor lock problems, maybe i have something hooked up wrong some where. i changed my thermo stat and that didnt help.

the car gets a bit above 90* but it doesnt overheat and my fan keeps blowing fuses. it never kicks on at all. i drained it the best i could to try and start over, filling it slowly with just water to see if i could get it work, but when i drive or rev it up a bit it starts spitting out all the water like crazy either out the cap if its not on or through the over flow. the car runs great other then i got real squeaky pully. the heat does work. i messed with it for 2 days trying to get the water and coolant to just stay in but its not working. some think its a head gasket but i hope not.

im checking here to see if any one could know whats up or any ideas, and if not then i'm going to take it to a shop. thanks
