Im looking to get a spare motor and do a winter build in my garage. I just want some mild engine work done. My brother in law might be able to port the heads, not sure yet he usually works on mustangs. I thought about just trying to find a wrecked ss cobalt but then id have to trans stuff and it seema like alot more work. Im basically looking to port heads, new internals, custom ram air intake, and exhaust. Just want to habe a little more get up and go. Are there any specifics i should do? And im not sure on how muh to port and size internals to get. Some recommendations would be nice.
Can't swap any Cobalt motor directly over to any Cavalier. It can be done but there is a lot more then just swapping engines and trany. If your just looking for a little more go then get the supercharger kit. Bolt on and gives a good bump in power with supporting mods.

also our motors only have one "head".
If you want internals, i suggest you go sleeve your block and install oversized forged pistons, forged rods, and clevite bearings in addition to the head work you want to get done.
it appears you have two threads running around... i will lock this one, and move the other one to the b00sted forum
