I need to kno if a small block chevy engine,3800 supercharged engine, or a chevy cobolt ss motor would be the easies toi be installed and how should i do it? i have a 2000 chevy cavalier that had a CNG conversion from the factory installed in it but i want to remove all that crap and swap it for the various above engines. please give me some pics or some really honest answers on what to do and how it will turn out.
Either will require fab work, the cobalt will require running the ecu unless you are willing to make a standalone work.
None are easy, but the 3800 will be the most bang for the buck and probably cheapest by far. Plus, compared to the other options you listed, its a relatively common swap.
Currently #4 in Ecotec Forced Induction horsepower ratings. 505.8 WHP 414WTQ!!!
Currently 3rd quickest Ecotec on the .org - 10.949 @ 131.50 MPH!!!
in all cases you'll have to rewire back to the tail lights... i'd personally drop a built 2.2 eco or a built 2.4 LD9... they'll be the easiest and the cheapest to do and require way less wiring.
If i had to pick from the three, the 3800 Supercharged would be my choice.
Its one of those things that if you need to ask how to do it than chances are you won't be able to.

But yeah if you do end up doing something to it then my vote is turbo eco (or LD9)

Pffttt....
SBC swaps are childs play around here.
i find it amusing that SHOoff has nothing better to do but follow me around & be an unhelpful dick in even cross-forum. - Jon Mick

no you don't.
you guys are assuming he'd run cobalt electronics.... the ecotec mechanically is almost the same, and whatever parts aren't can usually be swapped out (oil pan for instance)
the only thing the OP'd have to do is run an external trigger wheel for the LSJ. It does not have vvt or direct injection.
any ecotec with vvt or direct injection is a different story however....
ecotec would be the easiest
3800 would probably be the cheapest (more fab work however)
...and forget about the SBC if you have to ask.
