K1 connecting rods.. I seen there website there nice looking. I just see so much love for eagle was wondering if anyone tried something different.
ive never heard of "K1" before so i have no opinion or knowledge of such but to answer your other question a few have used pauter rods with good luck. but really the main reason people go with the eagles is because they are cheap and have been proven around here time and time again with EVERY engine. they get the job done so really a lot of people's mind set is if it aint broke why fix it? ya know?
crower makes an epic set of rods for the LD9. there are a couple sets left for sale by mark @ oem in the classifieds iirc if you are interested...

That makes sense. I decided on eagles and wiseco. Just lookin for higher c/r then 9:1.
