Who's car is this?
It got a body kit, lowered, stickers down the drivers door, intercooler in the front (didnt sound turbo'd though) and nitrous (heard the purge in staging) Ill. plates.

how many runs you guys get each at GLD today? Bet it wasn't as many as I got at Byron
I used to race cars, now I race myself.

Opening day today.....there were probably about 2500 runs total. My buddy with his 10 second Cutlass got 3 runs in. He probably could have got around 8 or 9 runs in but we had to play with his car between runs and run to the parts store once
But about that cavi....LMAO...
So I see it pull up (noticed it was a manual car...I think) with the intercooler...then I hear it purge....now I'm thinkin "ohhh...this might be good". Wrong! It ran a 17.xx (around a 17.1 I think) @ around 81mph!!!!!!

Oh yeah...the staging lanes were about 1000 feet long with cars most of the day...ALL 4 LANES!!!

I remember seeing that cavy at a J meet about a year ago or so, I never found out who owned it.
Now you see...that's why I love Byron's opening weekend. I got 22 runs in today and it was "busy." Couldn't have been more than 80 cars all day. Ran from 10:30AM or so till about 5PM I think it was. Over 1000 runs put in by 1/3 the number of people
The first two or three weeks at Byron are always this way. Perfect time to tune it a car

Well...the problem at GLD is it's free to race the first week. So today all you had to pay was spectator fee. Thats what brings the crowds in. There had to be around 200 cars in the staging lanes at a time.....with more cars sitting in the pitts. It'll be the same on sunday and all next weekend too.

What's the admission fee now? Same as Byron's EVERYDAY fee IIRC...$25. Maybe it's $20 but definately not low enough to make me wanna sit in lines all day to get 3 runs when I can do the 500 at Byron and get a track where they actually know what VHT is and use it even when it's mostly street tired cars. They aren't afraid to be liberal with it when needed and to put some extra down if you ask for it. Helped me out a ton having the VHT down on the track. MY BFGs love the stuff. Gotta try and find enough to soak them in again
That was the best traction I have ever had in my life...came close to slicks even.
The best part about Byron though has to be the the attitude. Everyone there is so f*cking laid back. I swear you could kill someone and as long as you do it cleanly or clean up after yourself they wouldn't say anything. It's F*CKING awesome.

Yadda yadda yadda Hypsy is better than us all and has the best everything.
You mean BILL HAHN got time to tune your car?
It's $12 to race all week (through next sunday). It's $25 on regular days.
Most of the time during the week I could get at least 50 runs if I wanted to. Me and a buddy were actually making laps once.
What kind of times did you run at Byron yesterday?
The Top Street Talon ran a 9.95 yesterday at GLD.

WTF is your issue man? You are starting to be a real pain in the ass. Who gives a @!#$ if Bill helps me tune my car. No Bill hasn't touched the car since the dyno seesion I had LAST FALL. I tuned it for the track day. So go @!#$ yourself with a rusty nail. I never said I was better than anyone...I said the track was better and a lot more fun to go to because you don't have to sit for 5 hours between runs. Maybe you like paying to sit and do nothing but if I'm paying to get into a track I'm gonna @!#$ race.
Lash: I ran all but 3 of my runs in the 13s. Every where from 13.10-13.89 in fact. One I missed 3rd and 4th gear, one I only got 6PSI, and one I completely trashed the launch and damn near killed it at the line.

nope. Not him.
His name is Javier Escobales he is a member of EDI. His car does have NOS and ran in the 16's all day. His car is turboed but the turbo was removed being built up. That was his first time running that car at GLD.
He's a really cool guy and a good friend of mine.
