not to be mean but i would save it. may sound good at the time but the way prices are going for everything right now including gas, may just want to hang on to it. if not you can go downtown and see the MANY buildings and things
I would say Field Museum and Shedd Aquarium and you could see Soldier Field right there. Also the Sears tower is cool and riding the el train is something you could say you did.
I was there last August and there is plenty to do believe me.

Chicago isn't all that expensive if you walk.... but parking... usually your paying $15+ just to get into a parkiung garage for the first 1/2 hour and it goes up form them. Expect to spend alot of time trying to find metered parking on the street or paying out your ass to go in a garage/lot, or walking.
look into geting a
City Pass

Walking in China town is interesting LOL
Shedd Aquarium
Adler Planetarium

Field Museum
Brookfield Zoo -or- Lincoln Park Zoo
Navy Pier
Michigan Avenue
Sears Tower -or- John Hancock Building
Wrigley Field
Heh, that's about 2 weeks worth of stuff.
1989 Z24 Convertible - Dust Covered
2006 tC - Dust Covered, but driven more
once you come you'll never want to leave...definetly see the museums
yeah..i am definately liking the city pass...that could be a nice day on the town...also interested in the zoos.
best place to get a hotel? we are THINKING about flying but we are undecided..probably save money in the long run
I live in chicago and still love the museums. The museum of science and industry i like better. Should have come last month and seen body worlds 2. That is amazing. Also there is a lot to do in the suburbs. Like gurnee mills mall or Six Flags Great America but six flags is probably going to cost you a couple hundred for the day with parking. Or you could check out springfield. I take a weekend trip down there once a year.
well i have a couple weeks to do some research...we will be driving there for sure to save some money..thanks for all the help guys
