Ok, who all is planning on caravaning with us to the bash? I know me Sean and Perry all intend on caravaning to the bash, and are just curious who else. The plan right now is to leave thursday, and arrive thursday night. Put your name down, and where you're from so we can arrange meeting points.

I'm coming from omaha. Basically just put up if you want to join, and where you're from and we'll put together 1 route given everyone's locations. ideally we're all going to meet somewhere on i-80 at some point along the way.
Brad's (zyaaaa) plans are to ride with me. I would like to leave thursday night but as far as I can tell the soonest I could leave would be when Brad shows up at my house which I would guess would be about 9-10pm thursday.
I know there is a reststop just 10 min east of Des Moines on I-80 that has worked well for meeting up in the past. The same one we use for all the williamsburg meets and the v6z24 bash. I can post up the milemarker number for anyone who wants it later. I would really like to go as a group.
I only reserved a room in ohio for the fri and sat night. I do not want to drive all night (12hrs) after working 14hrs on thursday. Maybe we could drive half way and crash at someones house in that area. Maybe even meet up with another group in the halfway area to make the rest of the trip to bash.

wade, im pretty sure ill be able to make it a little sooner than 9, i get off work at 5 (and really, i could get thursday completely off, ive already asked for it but its an up in the air thing), drop kids off on the way to your house and be there around 8- this of course if i leave at 5.
and yeah... i hope you know along with pitching in for gas im willing to drive like last time man. you wont have to drive that long if you dont want to.

I would be all right with driving to chicago on thursday night and then leaving early friday morning.
I have not taken thursday off and neither has my wife. I do not even know if she could get it off and if she did we would loose $190 bucks. That is alot of money to us. Plus brad might not be able to get the person watching his kids to agree to taking them earlier although he could get the day off if need be.

I doubt that. How many people really want to drive all night thursday and show up friday morning with no sleep and no hotel room ready yet.
From the looks of it most people are working thursday, plan on sleeping thursday night and leaving early friday morning.
I want to make every possible effort to caravan but the driving all night thursday thing is just not going to work out for most people.
Whenever we do leave I am sure we will meet up with someone along the way.

+2 wifee's I have an inflateable mattress I can bring so that would take 2 of us out of the mix providing he has floor space.

Expect me there then for sure.
Right now I have Thursday and Friday off of work, might switch it to half day on thursday and then take a half day on monday. Of course it all depends on when the caravan runs through, since i don't want to make the trip by myself.

it looks like we can make this a sizeable caravan
so initial plans are to all meet at ryans then thursday night, and all go as 1 caravan from there on friday morning
a few of us along i 80 might meet up before hand, but the main gathering might be at ryans then.
we will have to figure something out for parking at ryans house... that is going to be fun....

there nothign to figure out... park and I call the non emergency police number with the liscence plate to tell them it'll be in street over night (so they don't ticket) very simple
So Paul we just gotta figure out when and where we meet up to drive to ryans.
This is gonna be great, kinda like a little mini meet that might not be so mini.
