HID HELP!!!
Tuesday, February 03, 2009 9:09 PM
I got this HID kit in Kitchener from a guy( not going to name names) and the has a company called 2ningmarket. He told me that the kit was a plug and play kit. So i bought it. The first time i tried to install it it screwed up my passenger side light and the HID' s wouldn't work, so he told me to swap the wires and i tried that and nothing still. So i hooked the wires directly to the battery and the fired right up. so i was told that i need a wiring harness. So I got one that someone on here showed me was the one i needed but I don't know how it hooks up. If anyone can help me it would be great. Or if someone could help me do it that would be awsome. Here are some pics. Thanks Alex

You have the wrong relay kit.

Your HID kit is a 9007 socket and the relay harness is a 9005 socket.

I would explain how to hook up the relay kit but since you can't use it... I'll have to wait until you have the right one. It's pretty simple.

Look at the black plug on the relay harness... it's a rectangular 2 wire plug. 9005.

Look at your HID plug, the big blue one... Big round 3 wire plug.

... I don't think they're gonna connect, my friend.
