as the title states... where is the best place to get some winter tires, 205/55/16...

i got a set on 00+ Z24 rims $350 OBO

try standard auto wreckers. there usually 50 bucks a tire,but you gotta pick and chose the best tires and theres no gurrante theres any winter tires, and if you go the bald guy is the manager ask him if you can pick and from the 2 dollar tires,he might say no tho its worth a try

If your looking for new may I suggest Walmart. I just bought 4 brand new Nexen WinGuard231 tires P205/55R16 for my 2010 Vibe - They were $87 a peice(add the stupid $5.84 tire tax ) cash & carry, and as I understand they come with a hazard warranty even on cash & carry, if its not repairable, then they replace it (they take all the DOT numbers @ time of purchase)
I've tried pricing out brand name tires, and even @ my cost they were pricey i.e: BFG Winter Slalom KSI $150, Michelin X-Ice $170, etc.
The Nexen's do ride quite nice and are very quiet (they are a Directional as well)
