FYI, ga meets are not offical SV meets. so in order for GA members to get credit for showing to a SV meet, you gotta go out of state

You act like thats an unfair thing. Yes your meets are SV meets, but we can't call every one of them an official meet cause theres too many members who can't make them. I wouldn't hold a meet here in Charleston and call it an official meet just because that would be too long of a drive for you GA guys and for the NC guys. Even when we have meets in upstate SC everyone has to drive a pretty good distance and sometimes people can't make them, but its a central location and that's the only reason we consider those meets "official".
I know you're not happy with the decision we made to let Walter go, but a lot of people aren't taking this club seriously and it's holding the rest of the family back. Don't come on here and try to make it like we are singling you guys out.

SV is not a family.. its a business.. I only missed the meet because i didn't have the money to make it to NC.. i was in columbia the whole damn weekend.. the only reason i didn't have the money is because i had a warrant out for my arrest for and unpaid ticket that i learned about thursday evening so the money i made friday went to that.. so there ya happy.. as far as me.. just because my car is stock and i missed meets LAST year i get kicked out.. made all the meets so far this year except one and i get booted.. hahaha great .. .GOTTA LOVE it.. later

walter- im sorry but i agree with the guys for letting you go. you always and i mean always *except 2 times that i recall, MAYBE 3* had an excuse to miss out on any of the meets held in any state. and to be quiet honest i stuck up for your ass a lot but enough was enough after a while. just because it is a new year doesnt mean its a new roster of how many meets you can make or miss. and i still think youre full of @!#$ about getting a notice for a warrant out for your arrest. i have never known of any state to warn someone that they had a warrant out for their arrest, it just happened.
andy- dude i dont know you that well but honestly thats totally f*cked up to say @!#$ like that and is blantly something childish. just like Micah said, all meets are SV meets, but we try to have some official ones. in case you havent noticed, which by now you should have, we have tried to have a meet in different states where it gets equal share for everyone. i understand people cant make but i honestly dont see why the hell youre bitching. each chapter is not in competition against one another to see who has the most members. and it too is a family and for you to say its not is totally asinine and if people cant take it seriously like it should then i say out they go. Just because one person was let go you went all apey and im sorry to say this but its true, it was going on long before you joined up with us so it wasnt a new issue. but what im trying to figure out is why youre so bent out of shape out of all this? i didnt get my two cents in on a vote but im not complaining about not getting to share what i thought. there are rules in the club, you know that.

i personaly give 2 sh!ts who has the most members, i'm not compiting with other chapters. that's completely asinine. a C.C. to me is a family of friends with a common interest, i'm fighting for a brother. like i said in the post that i'm assuming micah deleted on our web site, i must misunderstood the stipulations of me starting a ga chapter of SV. it's a vote among ga members that determines who stays and who goes(unless a memeber is just show no effert).walter came to GA with a clean slate in SV. he showed up to all meets so far, and showed enthusiasm. granted, yes he doesn't have sh!t done to his car, but i told him get a move on. i ordered walter a sticker and
he is getting it! it's my fault that he hasn't got on his car yet. untill, he screws up down here, he's a member. and i will personaly remove his sticker if/when he does. the GA chapter is going be screened soon. i would not bother fighting for walter if i didn't have a reason to do so. I've said my peace on this, and will no longer discuss this. i am now 30 minutes behind at work, and this shouldn't be affecting my work.

Well I hate to see this sh!t happening amongst friends. I know I didn't make it last weekend, but I try to make most of the out of state meets. I work every Saturday with just one other person in the maintenance department at the plant I work at so you gotta figure they don't like to let me off on Saturdays. Micah I don't take it for granted that you extended the club to Georgia, and hopefully we can come to a peaceful resolve. I stand with Andy as far as Walter goes though and if Walter shows up to a meet I'll welcome him. I'm not denying his track record with the club, but his attendance at GA meets has been pretty good recently. I just ask that you don't slam the door on him, and maybe this will be a wakeup call for Walter to get more serious about being in the club.
Well I just hit the other thread and all I'll say is in the future don't conduct yourself that way Walter.
