-And we get days off from work but then the school year is longer!!!!! Thats what sucks about working at a school.
all the new path does is send it more north, which sends it thru Ocala, which is no good for me.. and John, almost every hurricane does damage to some extent.. Katrina whacked an oil rig, and thats what sent our gas prices up.. but given the times we're in, they'll jack them out of economical excuse, whether they hit an oil rig or any other source of revenue thats related...

My parents are heading to FL right now actually. They made Savannah GA at 4am. They're heading down to help my brother with his kids. One has an arm in a cast and my brother actually just got released from the hospital for a blood born infection.
The bad part is that they do live in the path of that storm. My brother is in Palmetto and we used to live in Bradenton.
The latest........They have moved it to make landfall right where Gilbert and I live, lucky us!

I know there's a guy down in Sarasota who rebuilds Alternators and starters rather cheaply. He should be in the yellow pages...if that helps any
And as for keeping your foot out of a V6....I know, I can't drive my wife's car without putting my foot into the throttle at least once or twice. The 3100s just sound too good not to play with :p

It's one of a few reasons we moved. Also the cost of living in NC is much lower than FL I bought my house for 76k, 3 bed 2 bath on 1.26+ acres. In Florida, that would've been what...300k?
