Has anyone here ever installed a temperture gauge on the 2.0 OHV motor? I have post in the performance section which seemed like the best possible choice at the time, but then I realized afterward all the newer cavliers and cobalts have temp gauges.
So I was wondering if any of the "old schoolers" know how to do this. I know there are two sensors in the thermostat housing. One is coolant temp switch (which is the one I think I can swap) and one is the temperature switch (which I'm assuming controls the fan). But I would rather hear a voice of experience!
And to my understanding the Upper sensor is the coolant temp and the lower sensor is the Temperture switch.
Any input would be grand. Thanks!
