the grand am uses the same hub as the cav, if you want cooler looking bigger rims a cheap alternative to going aftermarket is 94 or so grand am alloys, the fit perfectly on my z24

as far as any GM FWD wheel fiting....NO only N, L, and J platforms have the same pattern and only N before 99
i think someone swapped out wheel hubs on ya.

i had a early 80s model 5 lug wheel which was a thirteen inch and i was gonna use it for a spare till i got my new tires mounted and it fit fine on the lug pattern but the rim wouldnt clear the caliper, they must have changed to larger caliper and brakes since the wheel was made cause i tried it on my 93, but the lug pattern was the same
