I was wondering if it is ok to run 85 gas in a 92 3.1 L bird instead of 87 because i found a gas station that sells it for about 75cents a gallon cheaper.
wow, i didnt think they made 85 octane.
try it out, see how it runs with it. worst thing that would happen is it starts to ping like crazy and you have to throw some octane booster in for the rest of the tank. however, the knock sensor would pick up the detonation.
