well im not sure if u girls/guys know or not but i have a 90 cav 4dr(ph 1)as my winter beater which previousy had the ph 1 Z24 kit on it,but then i got sick of that and decided to install the ph 2(91-94) Z24 kit on it,
heres a pic of how it looked last winter after some bodywork and the ph1 Z24 kit

and now teh ph 2 swap
i started off with the front bumper and well needless to say the ph 2 bumper and ph 1 headlights dont match lol

but the rear looks great

and now to go back to the front,i couldnt jsut leave it like that so i headed out to hte yard today to pick up everything i needed plus a couple more goodies
out with the old

and in with the new...and the front bumper is still loose thats why theres still a little gap

and now i have a question,i cant use my ph 1 hood latch as it wont line up with the ph 2 latch in the car,so i was thinkin about cuttin this part out thats circled in red then i can still bolt up my ph 1 latch in the car...this should work correct?i jsut dont wanna hack it up then be screwed and have to get a new 1 lol

and i got all the wiring figured out aswell,if anyone didnt know the ph 1s come with a seperat bulb for the high and low beam where as the ph 2s come with jsut 1 bulb for both
and i also got some support frames taht go from the front fenders over to hte firewall, only thing is i dont see any holes in the 4dr for this to mount up on the firewall(i havent checked my Z yet)

and a new throttle cable that i need for when i do my Hybrid motor swap

ohh and anyone wanna buy a mint pair of headlgihts/corners?there nice and white, not yellow like most of them lol

y dont you just change the latch thats on the hood
thats what i did

i put a ph 1 z hood on my ph2 cavi and all i had to do is change the hood mount

Well i knew it wouldnt be long before you started modding that thing. Its impossible to have a Jbody sitting around and not improve it
I'll go ahead and make the statement now.: When are you gonna put a V6 in it?

Oh yeah like said before you'll have to swap to a phase 2 latch on the hood.. so you might as well go ahead and put on that Z24 hood .. you know you want to

well i ahve the ph 2 latch at my palce but i couldnt get the peices off the hood at the yeard that hold it on so i figured i could jsut chop up the ph 2 latch under the hood adn install my stock 1 again and not ahve to worry about it

as for the hood,i have a Z24 lined up or i might jsut make a mold of the scoops on my other J and put them on the 4dr lol

ohh and i think i mgiht go back to the yard tommorow and grab the ph 2 tails and spoiler

thanks guys
well on to the damn spoiler  turns out the damn sedan trunk lid is perfectly flat where as the coupes have a slight curve to them

and because its perfectly flat i ahve this stupid gap under teh 3rd brake light

now im jsut debating on shaving the 3rd brake lgiht(have on in my window too) or grinding down the side of the spoiler to brink it down alittle bit more so i can bolt down the 3rd brake light aswell
