Hi, I need to know how I can either make 2nd gear slip, make it not go into second (go right into 3rd), or something so that second gear wont work / grab. I have a 3 speed auto. Thanks.

And another thing, I think you should do some research into cars in general, you can't remove just one gear in a transmission. Basic things like that will come in handy when you "pimp out" your new car.

first off, why would u want to ruin and get rid of a good running car? and who says u can't modiy yours? look around this site and some others, u will see that thre are beautiful 2nd gens out there, and most of them were probably worse off then yours is before they started modding them. actually, i still think the absolute nicest cavalier i've ever seen is a 2nd gen. it's on this site. i think the owner goes by the name of 'geeds' but it's a red cavalier convertible, with a diza racing kit(i think) nice rims and a beautiful paint job. i used to have the attitude prob. u have. my first car was an 89 sunbird gt 2.0 turbo, i hated the car cause of my bad attitude, i thought it was a worthless piece of junk so i sold it for next to nothing. i had many cars since then and when i think about it, i'd kill to have that car back. trust me man keep the car. don't ruin it. if u need help w/ where to start, or where to locate parts, thats what we're here for man. start small if u wanna. tint the windows, get yourself an intake, maybe a catback or header, maybe you wanna go for looks first. whatever ya wanna do man. besides you have a 94 model according to yer registry, u got prob the best year 2nd gen

I got a weak stupid 3 speed auto cavalier engine, FWD pos. w/ plastic bumpers and a lisence place that is on the side of the car. Second gear is starting to slip a little when I floor it trying to race well ... ... geo metros... suzuki swifts.... but they still win. Wow. Wow is all I gata say.
I have to break the car for my dad to logically think that its ok to get a new 1 now. Not a money issue.

Your dad is going to buy you a Skyline? Does he plan on going down to Bob's Used Car dealership to pick it up? Its going to run almost $100k when all is said and done (it needs to be imported, converted to US spec safety, etc). Even an R32 RWD chassis is still going to be about $50-60k. You really have no clue what you're talking about, I think you've seen The Fast and the Furious one too many times.
the running the cavy into the tree is not a bad idea...

I will do you one bettr i will give you 1 dollar for the cav but you have to ship it to Michigan. I mean seriously if you dont want the car and money doesn't seem to be an issue you will kill two birds with one stone. you wont have the Cav and you will have you rice rocket
