My oil pressure is reading really low and my lifters are ticking really bad..... what should I do to find the problem, i have herd that the lifters are ticking because of the low oil pressure and the low oil pressure is because my bearings are going or my oil pump? What would you guys recomend to do to try and find the problem. thanks for any help!

Low oil pressure can cause lifters to not get enough oil and tick, and low oil pressure is most likely from worn bearings. You might have a worn out bottom end. Are you getting an oil light or does a manual gauge read too low. You should use a manual gauge to be sure, sometimes senders go bad. I had a low oil pressure light coming on in my car and it was just a bad sender.

clevite 77 .75 oversized rod and crank berrings...
micropolishing the crank

i had lifter tick for 2 weeks... then finally the berring gave and i got the low oil pressure and knock...

pull the oil pan right away and inspect the berrings..... once they go you have to get the motor line bored...
