Has anyone priced out the GM 3 bar map sensor off of the turbo trans-ams? Also does anyone have the part number? Tony, I'm sure you're been here done that... Any one have a good/cheap source? Thanks

I bought one for my typhoon. I bought it from a parts store. I think it was Advance Auto. I would have to really dig back into the receits. I think it was only around 65 or so. I went to the dealer to get one, and the best they would do was about 90 dollars. I would have used GMpartsdirect, but I was at a car show in KC and had just installed the new ecu and injectors, it would not run on 2bar.

The old 16040749 part number has changed to this 2nd design and will require using a new connector 15305891 when replacing the first design sensor with the new 2nd design map sensor. If you are installing this on a vehicle other than a 1989 turbo T/A there will not be a warranty on this part.

They are about 65-75 bucks at the auto parts store they are also used for the Buick GN which is the PN I used to get mine
