I just got my 89 sunbird 2.0L Turbo running again but the engine makes a lot of tapping noises. I just put a new head and lots of other new parts on it. It sounds like it's coming from the EGR area. I have 2 sunbirds and they both make the same kind of noise. Is there a common problem that cause's this noise that I should look for?

On my bird it was just a sticky lifter....be sure to check the oil level, though...
