Does anyone know if it is possible or how hard it is to put a '92 Z24 engine and tranny in my '98 Z24 with a blown ass motor. What are the power capabilities of the 2.8L engine from the '92 Z24? Blew my motor and needed some options since nobody rebuilds and charges way too much for new and used 2.4L.

the 92 would have a 3.1l, not a 2.8. there are a lot of ways to build up a 3.1l and get lots of power out of it, but if i were you id just get a 3400 and swap that. with a little bit of welding it can be bolted in, but everything else (wiring, fuel lines, rad hoses, power steering hoses, ect) will all be custom. its a major project, and isnt for the faint of heart.
