have 1991 sunbird convertable,,,

the rear speakers are 6X9's & are on the side beside the seat...


what i wanna know is,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

How do you get to these speakers... do the grills pop off like the ones in the dash do?

if not what all has to be removed so i can get these out

IIRC, the entire panel has to come out, but its been a few years now since I've seen one apart, and that was in a rush to get the car back on the road for the Bash.....Protonus.......

remove back seat.
remove 4 philips head screws from trim. disconnect light. flip panel over, remove 4 10 mm nuts, remove speaker, remove grille, installation is opposite of removal.


watch for flying sparks!!!
