I have a 96 Cavalier Ls Sedan dropped with H&R Springs(1.6in drop all around) and Tokico HP Struts(Blue) on 17in rims with 215/45/ZR17 rated tires. The drop is uneven, the front is way lower than the back. have cracked my tranny pan 3 times. I Live in NY City and the roads are kinda rough but i have friends with Honda's whose cars are way lower than mine and have never had this problem. What do you think is the cause of this? The uneven drop, the rims and tires, just NYC roads or even the 2.4L motor I was told than the 2.2L motor is lighter and that makes a difference in the drop. Do you have any suggestions on how i can fix the problem?
when it comes to boobs i need a girl with bad grades cause im tired of all the ones walking around with straight a's
the drop being different front to back is normal , the rear sits higher stock , so using the same drop rated spring will leave the rear up higher
and the trans pan problem would be a combo of being droped (with any springs) , the crappy roads
also you should be using a 225/45 , not a 215/45 , the 225/45 is a hair larger than the stock size tire , the 215/45 is more than a few hairs shorter than the stock tire size
to fix the problem , raise the car back up
would cutting the springs in the back work or just change completely to sportlines?

Cutting springs is BAD NEWS! Don't do it.
You have the wrong size tires, and that's probably making the biggest difference.
But the Tokico HPs are NOT meant for H&R springs.
The combination of those two problems is why you're bottoming out so much.
Yeah maybe struts are blown and causing you to bottom out? H&R shouldnt be too low.
No to cutting springs, no to sportlines, both options aren't going to help you (and cutting springs is just plain dumb). Get springs with less of a drop if anything. Also check the struts to see if they're blown or not - rock the car by standing half inside the car and half out with door open and just jump up and down. If the car keeps bouncing up and down for a while chances are your struts are shot.
My struts are good and i made a mistake they are B&G Springs.

B&G where really meant for saturns, they are alil weak for holding up a cavalier, atleast thats what my uncle said when i asked if i could move them from my old car to my sunfire/cavalier. i know they make diferent types, but the saturn ones and cavy ones are similiar, it is possible someone just sent you the wrong ones.
I have B+Gs they sit very low (the whole 1.6"). The HPs will not control B+Gs though, and you'll bounce right down into the pavement.

H&R springs have ALWAYS been 1.4 in the rear and 1.6 in the front.
Applications for 2000 Chevrolet / GMC Cavalier
Suspension
Stage Chassis Sport Spring
Notes 22
Approx Front Lowering 1.6
Approx. Rear Lowering 1.4

and never cut a spring, especially a progressive thats designed to keep positive rake angle....
if you dont know what rake angles are or what role they play on handling, thats the number one sign you need to do more research, cause for starters, h&r were NEVER 1.6 all the way around as you originally said.
and performance springs are made to perform, not to be perfect sitting on a car which has an imperfect chassis. even if you have b=g springs with the same 1.6 all the way around.
you drive a cavalier, not a noble m12
springs are the cheaper end of the spectrum to lower your car..... meaning you dont have ANY adjustability without screwing things up....just check out the jacked and wrecked forum, theres quite a few cars there that are results of crap suspension and people who didnt know what they were doing in cutting progressive springs.
