Well during the winter there was a bit of a mishap on some ice with my 84 turbo sunbird hatch, and slid into a curb bending the a-arm. What i need to know is if anyone knows if this is the same one that is one the 1st gen coupes or sedans or if i will need to get one from another hatch which would seem nearly impossible. If it helps, when buying parts for it in the past, i have had to refer to it as a J2000 rather than a sunbird to get the proper parts, but they were engine parts (it came with a 1.8 turbo).

Well i just searched on car-part and found it list grand ams, skylarks, and cavaliers as having the same a-arm as the 2000 p/j/sunbird. I know GM is known for reusing parts on many models but does this seem right?

Maybe so, wouldnt surprise me, i was under an Alero the otherday at work, and was sort of surprised to see the control arms to be identical to my Sunfire's. This one was a more rare, as it had IRS, an LD9 with a Getrag Tranny, and to top that off, a sedan (probably not rare that its a 4 door, but a manual sedan)
They're the same for all coupes/sedan/verts/wagons. Those models will fit. If Car-Part says it will fit, it will. Its based on Hollander's Interchange, which is the best interchange around, and I've never seen it wrong before.
Good deal, thats what i had figured just needed to be sure before buying onwe, thanks guys.
