Suspension Question, and Brake suggestions Plz

I am planning on lowering my car with the Eibach Sporline springs, and I was wondering what struts you guys recommended with these springs. I have read in the forums that alot of people like the Koni yellows and reds, anyone have part-numbers for the right ones for our cars?

I also want to put big brakes on my car and rotors on the back. I was thinking of Baer but I was told by a mechanic friend of mine that they use Brembo on the race-car he works on. Again, what do you guys recommend for our cars.

Thanx for the help, this organization has helped my salvage car come a long way.

thats nice, i read it all over again (5th time) and still am wondering what people recomend with the sportlines. there were lots of ppl mentioning the prokit. and i also still dont know which yellows or reds would be right for my car

koni

they have different numbers and are all red and yellow. there are 13 different koni struts that are yellow. im guessing for the yellows it would be 8710 or 8741, but its still alot of money to buy them both and try them both. 15 that are red. have you figured out why i asked anything about part numbers?

Does anyone have any opinions instead of links?

That was amazing help, CTS...you're a real credit to the community.

The reds offer you uber-adjustment and yellows offer less. For your sake, make it easy on yourself and get the Koni Yellows.

Here are some store links:

Car Customs (Karo's outfit)

Gravana Tuning

Turbo Tech Racing

Hope this helps, good luck with buying/install.

^WTF was that? You sure sound like you know what you're talking about....

Koni doesn't make the reds anymore. So if you're going new, problem solved, yellows are the only option. There's one difference between the reds and yellows. Reds you have to take off the car to adjust (and thus need an alignment after you adjust them). Yellows are externally adjustable, just turn a dial.

Your only other option are Tokico D-Specs. They're bolt on replacements so you don't have to chop open your stock struts. They're also cheaper, slightly.

Holy crap, something helpful beyond "just read faq kthx!"

Look, just venting about people are so quick to blow off minor questions with comments like "Read the FAQ" or "SEARCH!"
