Any of you guys have loud problems in the rear struts? When im driving and hit lil bumps pressure is like 40-45 in both fornt/rear. And i hear "Loud" clunks as if the strut takes the bump and extends back really fast. Almost like as if its bottoming out.
mine does it too i posted in the other thread mine does it bad cuz i usually ride between 20-30 but if im higher its not to bad. i also think its the stupid lower mounts on the rear that make so much damn noise
Yup. It is the heim joint. The thing likes to clunk like crazy. I know exactly what company you are talking about without even looking into your profile LOL.
im glad my struts were the ones before those so i dont have that clunk issue
I never had the issue when I first got them. I got this kit through Jason at A+ a long time ago. It was great. Occasional clunking but now it is all the time. I did have the kit off for a year and a half though. I found that stiffening the strut helps a little. No clue how but hell it did and the warmer air helps also. Maybe cause the metal expands and fits better. Who knows. I just know that no one has been able to figure it out. So I guess it is not really money well spent. I expected some noises when I got it but not the sound of babies crying from the front when I turn the wheel or the sound of gun shots in the rear. LOL Still alot of fun to ride with.
Yea i fixed it, both dapening setting were lowest possible i turned it all the way right and then back 3 clicks. Still have a lil noise but not like it was.
